Narcan - REVIVE!

Narcan can save a life during an opioid overdose and is available for free. Narcan is easy to use and training is provided at no cost. This training is called REVIVE!

Important Things to Remember

  • Narcan may temporarily reverse an opioid overdose, but medical help is still necessary. Call 911 first!
  • Narcan only works on opioid overdoses.
  • When you call for help during an overdose you are protected from being arrested and charged with certain crimes. 

How to Schedule a Training

Free Narcan is available by calling Lauren Herschler at 804-717-6169 or by sending an email. Free Narcan is also available through the Virginia Department of Health.

REVIVE! is the Opioid Overdose and Naloxone Education (OONE) program for the Commonwealth of Virginia. REVIVE! provides training on how to recognize and respond to an opioid overdose emergency using naloxone.
