Petition the Court for a Preliminary Protective Order during the three days the Emergency Protective Order is active.

Preliminary and Final Protective Orders

  • Are only issued by a Judge.
  • Must go through the Court system.
  • Arrive at the courthouse before 9 a.m.to complete paperwork.
    • Appear before a judge at 10:45 a.m.
  • If you arrive after 9 a.m., you may be scheduled to attend Court the next business day at 10:45 a.m.
