Parks & Recreation Planning
Considering the growing concerns surrounding the potential spread of the coronavirus known as COVID-19, Parks and Recreation construction projects may be delayed due to reduced workforce. It is possible that private vendors performing Parks and Recreation construction projects may limit their workforce or temporarily cease work on these projects. The County may also reduce its workforce which will have impact on projects requiring permits and other governmental approvals. These reductions in workforce will possibly delay project completions beyond contract dates or other established completion times.
Updates to published completion schedules will be made on the department website, as information is available. If specific events or programs are associated with the completion of a specific project and that event or program is not cancelled, staff will be in contact to make alternate arrangements.
