Local Service
Route 3B Service (Previously Route 111)
Route 3B: Highland/Rt 1 provide local bus service from Brightpoint Community College (formerly John Tyler Community College) in Chester to Highland Park, in Richmond's Northside. Brightpoint Community College is also hosting a Park-N-Ride in Parking Lot B for passengers to safely and securely park their vehicles and ride the Route 3B. Riders can connect with the rest of GRTC’s network at multiple locations in Richmond.

- Hours of Service: Monday-Friday, 5 a.m.-7 p.m., Saturdays 7 a.m.-7 p.m.
Public Timetable (PDF) - Frequency: The bus will arrive at stops about every 30 minutes; twice a day there will be a 40-minute window between buses.

Information About Service - Videos
Express Service
Multiple routes operate on weekdays with stops in Chesterfield County to transport commuters to and from Richmond quickly, while helping to minimize congestion. The GRTC Express Routes provide you with a worry-free commute and save you money on parking and gas. There are free and convenient Park ‘N Ride lots available for these routes. The Park ‘N Ride lots are safe, well-lit, and easily accessible. Service runs along the Express service routes to the downtown Business District.
64x Stony Point Express (PDF) has a Park’ N Ride located at Bon Air Baptist Church, 2531 Buford Road, with the bus stop located on Choctaw Road.
- Days of Service: Monday-Friday
- Hours of Service: Morning trips occur at 6:10 a.m. and 7:30 a.m. from Stony Point. Afternoon trips from Downtown Richmond occur at 3:50 p.m. and 5:15 p.m.
82x Commonwealth 20 Express (CHF) (PDF) has a Park ’N Ride located at Commonwealth 20 on Commonwealth Center Parkway in Midlothian.
- Days of Service: Monday-Friday
- Hours of Service: : Morning trips occur at 6:30 a.m. and 7:15 a.m. from Commonwealth 20. Afternoon trips from Downtown Richmond occur at 4:05 p.m., 4:35 p.m. and 5:15 p.m. From Chesterfield Park N’ Rides to Downtown during weekday peak hours only.
Fare: $6 one-way; $1.75 includes a transfer/connection (One Ride Plus pass); passes are available (1- day, 7-day and 30-day unlimited ride options). Reduced Fares are available for seniors, minors, individuals with disabilities and Medicare customers.
CARE Service
ADA Paratransit Service
GRTC’s Community Assisted Ride Enterprise (CARE) service is now available along Route 1 in Chesterfield County, expanding the destinations reached in the GRTC network. CARE provides origin-to-destination service under the guidelines of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) in parts of Chesterfield, Richmond and Henrico to individuals with disabilities who may not be reasonably able to use GRTC fixed route bus service. The service is a shared-ride service where reservations are made at least one day in advance.

- Hours of Service: Monday-Friday, 5 a.m.-7 p.m., Saturdays 7 a.m.-7 p.m.
- Fare: $3 one-way; CARE customers may also ride local bus routes, including the new Route 111, for free.
