Thank you.

This year has been challenging for so many in law enforcement and so many in our country. Many of us have been working in extreme conditions and in downright hostile environments. Not every agency has a community that's supportive of its law enforcement like we have in Chesterfield, and we'd like to think that if the situation were reversed you'd do the same for us.

We want you to know we appreciate you. We appreciate your sacrifice, your hard work, your dedication and your commitment to a noble calling. You are seen and you are valued.

We know that every law enforcement organization is looking for good men and women right now, and we're no different. We do have a lateral program, and if you're interested in a change, we're interested in talking to you. If you have a heart for service, this community has a heart for you. But, that's not the point.

The point of this is simple: We want to say thank you.
