Federal Smart Scale funding has been secured to construct a shared-use path along Route 1 between Falling Creek Wayside Park and Food Lion, north of Chippenham Parkway.

Project Timeline

Preliminary engineering is underway with public outreach planned for early 2023. Construction is anticipated to begin in 2024.
