Fire & Life Safety House

About the Safety House

Chesterfield Fire and EMS purchased a fully operational training/teaching simulator, with the help of several sponsors. The Fire and Life Safety House is an actual "structure" where children learn about home fire safety in a realistic setting. Children are taught vital lessons such as:

  • Crawl Low in Smoke
  • Have a Home Escape Plan and Practice It
  • How to Make an Emergency Call
  • Many Other Home Safety Tips
