Nash Road Extension (Beach Road to Route 10)

Revenue Sharing funds (50% state funds and 50% county funds) will be used to extend Nash Road from Beach Road to Route 10 to relieve area congestion. A virtual design public hearing was held on Wednesday, Jan. 13, 2021; view the public hearing transcript (PDF).

Traffic Impacts

Gas line relocations are underway with alternate lane closures expected from 9 a.m.-3:30 p.m. This work will be intermittent for the month of March. Once the gas line relocations are completed, the relocations of power and communication lines will take place through spring and summer. 

Project Timeline

Right-of-way acquisition is complete. Construction advertisement is anticipated this spring with construction anticipated to begin this fall.
