Mental Health Support Services (MHSS) is the provider of mental health, developmental disabilities and substance use disorder services for children and adults in Chesterfield County. Community Services Board

The Community Services Board (CSB) serves as an administrative policy board for MHSS. Members are appointed by the Board of Supervisors with statutory fiduciary and management authority and responsibilities (Code of Virginia §37.2-100). The CSB is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF), which is an organization committed to promoting the quality, value and optimal outcomes of services through an accreditation process that centers on enhancing the lives of the people served.
