Educating Community Members
The Community Engagement Unit educates community members on how to anticipate, recognize and reduce crime. We do this through a variety of programs that we offer to individuals, businesses, schools, scouts and places of worship. To learn more about these programs, please call 804-318-8699.

Security Assessments
A community engagement representative visits your home, business or place of worship, conducts a security assessment, and provides written recommendations.

Police reports or requests for immediate police response must be made by phone by calling either 911 in the event of an emergency or 804-748-1251 for a non-emergency. We have an online crime report that can be filled out for non-emergency situations.
