Internship Program
The objective of the Student Intern Program is to provide a positive learning environment, in which interested college students can experience the various aspects and responsibilities of law enforcement while completing a project as part of their studies. Interns generally complete 160 internship hours.

Police reports or requests for immediate police response must be made by phone by calling either 911 in the event of an emergency or 804-748-1251 for a non-emergency. To speak to a desk officer, call 804-748-1269. We have an online crime report that can be filled out for non-emergency situations.
