Chesterfield County, Virginia, Police Department Logo

Learn more about Chesterfield Police by participating in the Chesterfield County Police Citizen’s Academy. For nearly 20 years, attending the Police Citizen’s Academy has been one of the best ways to learn about the Police Department. Based on the response from our community over the past several weeks, two upcoming Police Citizen’s Academies will begin the week of July 20. Classes will be held at the Eanes-Pittman Public Safety Training Center from 6-9 p.m.

The aim of the Police Citizen’s Academy is to answer questions, address issues and connect with Chesterfield community members who want to know more about how their Police Department works. Classes can hold up to 20 people and will be held for seven weeks in a row, either on Tuesday or Thursday nights.

View the Citizen’s Academy application which contains instructions on how to submit the completed application. Classes will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis.
