CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, VA – Chesterfield County Police have arrested a suspect in relation to a stabbing that occurred in the 3800 block of Cougar Trail on Tuesday, Oct. 20.
At about 6:20 p.m. on Oct. 20, police responded to a report that two males had been stabbed during an altercation in a parking lot in the 3800 block of Cougar Trail. Once on scene, officers located two victims, one age 17 and one age 18, suffering from stab wounds. Both victims were transported to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Police obtained two warrants for malicious wounding for Turon M. Savoy Sr., 46, in relation to the stabbing. Savoy, of the 6000 block of Rollback Drive in Chesterfield, was arrested Tuesday evening and is being held at the Chesterfield County Jail. The investigation indicates Savoy is known to the two victims.
