CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, VA – The Chesterfield County Police Department's alarm registration and false alarm program is going online.
Beginning Dec. 7, new residential and commercial alarm systems can be registered online at www.crywolfservices.com/chesterfieldcova. Central Square Technologies LLC, using its proprietary CryWolf software, will take over alarm registration, false alarm notifications, billing and collections for the county. Residents will also be able to pay false alarm charges and/or submit requests to appeal those charges online. Residents who prefer to discuss their account via telephone can do so by calling the vendor at 855-694-8279 during normal business hours.
The county's alarm system ordinance has not changed. If you have an alarm system and an active permit, no action is required; you will receive a letter from the vendor with login information to the new citizen portal.
