CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, VA – Chesterfield County Police have arrested a man in relation to a homicide that occurred on Sunday, April 19, 2020.
At about 7:30 p.m. on April 19, police were called to the area of Holiday Bowl, located at 11400 Jefferson Davis Highway, for a report of a suspicious situation. Upon arrival, officers located the body of a deceased adult female. The body was transported to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner for further examination.
Detectives identified the woman as Pamela S. Newcomb, 55, of no permanent address. The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner determined that Newcomb's manner of death was homicide.
On January 7, 2021, detectives arrested Calvin Elton Clark and charged him with second-degree murder in relation to the incident. Clark, 46, of the 1500 block of Drewry Street in Richmond, is currently being held in the Chesterfield County Jail without bond.
