Please take notice that the Board of Supervisors of Chesterfield County, Virginia, at an adjourned meeting on Wednesday, March 10, 2021, at 6 p.m. will hold a public hearing on the following:
- To consider the acquisition of right-of-way, permanent easements and temporary construction easements by negotiation or exercise of eminent domain for the Greenleigh Bus Turnaround and Pullout Project across property at 14101 Jefferson Davis Highway, GPIN: 8016461198. - To consider an ordinance providing for the continuity of county government during time of declared national, state, and local emergency and disaster. - To consider a request to quitclaim portions of the variable width right of way of Genito Road and authorize the conveyance of an easement to Verizon Virginia, LLC. If further information is desired, please contact the Real Property Office at 748-1361 between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.
NOTICE: Due to the COVID-19 coronavirus health emergency, the meeting may proceed under modified procedures. The meeting may take place (i) with Board members, staff, applicants and citizens present at the Public Meeting Room subject to masking and social distancing requirements or (ii) at a different location or (iii) entirely by electronic and remote means without persons physically present in the same room. Access to the Public Meeting Room may be severely restricted or even eliminated, depending on the prevailing circumstances on the day of the meeting. Although the Board of Supervisors will endeavor to accept such comments up to the start of the meeting, citizens are encouraged to submit comments no later than 5:00 p.m. on March 9, to ensure that the comments are provided to the Board of Supervisors prior to the meeting for their consideration.
