With the increase of the widespread availability of the COVID-19 vaccine and the goal to vaccinate as many people as possible, the Virginia Department of Health (VDH) Chesterfield Health District (CHD) is encouraging residents to use VaccineFinder.org to schedule an appointment for the COVID-19 vaccine. The VaccineFinder website, which has a searchable map-based tool, allows individuals to find appointments for a COVID-19 vaccine near them.

If an individual has pre-registered on Vaccinate.Virginia.gov and has not been contacted to schedule an appointment, CHD is recommending they go to VaccineFinder.org and schedule an appointment. The VDH health districts hosting vaccine clinics will be listed on VaccineFinder.org along with pharmacies and doctor's offices that have the vaccine available to administer.
While individuals will no longer be required to use the statewide COVID-19 vaccine pre-registration system, they may still use the Vaccinate.Virginia.gov website as a resource or call 1-877-VAX-IN-VA (877-829-4682) if they have questions about the vaccines or COVID-19.
The CHD includes the counties of Chesterfield and Powhatan and the city of Colonial Heights. It is one of Virginia Department of Health’s 35 health districts.
