CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, VA – The Chesterfield County Police Department will host its annual National Night Out Kick-Off on Saturday, June 26, from 5 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at Westchester Commons, 15786 WC Main Street.
The evening will include live music, a variety of vendors, a visit from McGruff the Crime Dog and more. Classic cars and a police helicopter will be on display, and the Chesterfield Food Bank will be accepting food donations on site.
While you're gearing up for kick-off, remember to register your neighborhood event for the 38th Annual National Night Out, which will take place Tuesday, Aug. 3.
From 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Aug. 3, residents in neighborhoods throughout Chesterfield County and across the nation are asked to lock their doors, turn on outside lights and spend the evening outside with neighbors and police. On “America’s Night Out Against Crime,” neighborhoods and businesses throughout Chesterfield will host a variety of special events, such as block parties, cookouts, visits from police and more.
