CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, VA – Police are investigating two bank robberies that occurred on Tuesday, Nov. 30. No one was injured during either robbery.
At about 11:04 a.m. today, a male suspect entered the Wells Fargo bank branch at 6441 Chesterfield Meadows Drive, approached a teller and displayed a note demanding money. Upon receiving an undisclosed amount of cash, the suspect fled. No weapons were displayed during this incident.
At about 12:07 p.m. today, a male suspect entered the Wells Fargo bank branch at 5630 Hopkins Road, approached a teller and displayed a note demanding money. Upon receiving an undisclosed amount of cash, the suspect fled. No weapons were displayed during this incident.
At this point, the investigation indicates the two robberies are related. Through investigation, officers located the suspect in the 7500 block of Belfield Road. The suspect was detained and charges are pending.
