CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, VA – Police have arrested a suspect in relation to a robbery that occurred at the Shell gas station, at 13101 Hull Street Rd at about 8:55 a.m. on Tuesday, April 26. No one was injured in the incident.
Police said a male suspect entered the business and displayed a knife while demanding money from the clerk. After receiving an undisclosed amount of money, the suspect fled the store on foot.
Police officers located the suspect, Marquis E. Brown, 31, of the 6800 block of Sika Lane, running from the scene. After a brief foot chase, officers took the subject into custody, and he was transported to the Chesterfield County Jail where he was charged with the robbery.
In addition to this incident, Brown has also been charged with two additional counts of robbery for incidents that occurred at this location on April 19 and April 23 of this year. He is currently being held without bond.
