CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, VA – Chesterfield County Police are investigating a shooting that occurred at the New Life Outreach International Church at 1005 Turner Road.
At approximately 12:21 p.m. on August 27, 2022, off duty police officers were in the parking lot waiting to conduct a funeral escort. Officers overheard several gunshots from inside the building and immediately investigated. The building was cleared by police. This appears to be an isolated incident and there are no known injuries to anyone attending the funeral service that police are currently aware of.
