Position Description
Duties include shelving; shelf-reading; dusting and cleaning shelves, furniture and equipment; shifting; pulling materials; putting materials in order; cleaning materials; program assistance; processing materials and other duties as required. This position will be offered at the Ettrick-Matoaca Library (4501 River Road, South Chesterfield, VA 23803).
Shift: Monday - Saturday, flexible hours (2 hour minimum per shift)

Qualifications
Minimum of 14 years old and have transportation to the library. Must be reliable. Ability to read and understand English, and to follow simple oral and written directions. Courteous and demonstrate good judgment, accuracy and orderliness. Must be able to sort material in alphabetical/numeric order and have the ability to lift heavy objects such as bins of books or boxes of supplies and have the ability to reach top of shelves and ability to bend to bottom of shelves.
