CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, VA – Police are investigating a shooting that occurred on April 26 at about 1 p.m.
Police responded to the 4000 block of Chippendale Drive for a report that an adult male had been shot. Upon arrival, officers located the victim, who reported that he was in his vehicle when he was shot by an unknown suspect. The victim’s vehicle was struck several times. The victim was transported to an area hospital with what appeared to be non-life-threatening injuries.
At this point, the investigation indicates the shooting occurred on Chippenham Parkway and was related to a road rage incident. The suspect vehicle is described as a small, white sedan with tinted windows and a donut spare tire on its rear passenger side.
