CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, VA – Police are investigating a home invasion/robbery that occurred in the 7000 block of Bannockbarn Drive in Chesterfield Village Apartments around 11:00 a.m. The victims told police that three black males knocked on their apartment door and then forced their way inside.
The suspects displayed a firearm and demanded money. Prior to fleeing the scene, the suspects obtained a small amount of money from the victims. One victim sustained a minor injury after being struck in the head, but was treated on the scene.
The suspects are described as all being black males; one was light skinned, about 6 feet 2 inches tall with dreadlocks. The other two suspects were only described as wearing black scarves with jeans.
Police believe that this is an isolated incident and that no other persons or homes are in any immediate danger as it appears one of the suspects is known to the victims.
