CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, VA – Police are investigating the extensive vandalism of the old Reams Road Elementary School, located at 10141 Reams Road.
At some point between 5 p.m. on Sept. 19, 2019, and 7 a.m. on Sept. 23, 2019, an unknown suspect or suspects entered the building and caused extensive damage. The suspect or suspects broke windows, ceiling tiles, toilets, sinks, water fountains and other items.
Though the school building is set to be demolished, the school system planned to remove items from the building before its demolition. At this point, it is estimated that roughly $250,000 in damage was done by the suspect or suspects.
