CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, VA – Chesterfield County Police have arrested a suspect in a fatal hit and run that occurred in the 600 Block of Chinaberry Drive at about 3:20 a.m. on Sunday, Sept. 30, 2018.
The victim, Selene Galvan-Santos, 30, was walking down the roadway when a vehicle struck her. Galvan-Santos, of the 7500 Block of Marbrett Drive, was transported to an area hospital where she later died.
After a nearly year-long investigation, police arrested Patrick E. Nolan, 34, on Friday, Sept. 27, 2019, and charged him with felony hit-and-run in relation to the crash. The investigation indicates that Nolan, of the 7600 block of Bannockbarn Drive, was driving a 2006 Toyota Matrix when he struck Galvan-Santos and left the scene.
