1. Who is eligible for services at the Dual Treatment Track (DTT)?

Individuals who are incarcerated, of pre-trial status, with a major mental illness and substance abuse disorder are eligible. Participants must have verifiable housing and transportation.

2. What charges/convictions make an individual ineligible?

Individuals are excluded based on a prior record of pending charges of the following:

• Arson
• Felony Distribution or Manufacturing
• Felony Sex Offenses
• Violence (as Defined by 17.1-805 and 19.2-297.1 of the Criminal Code of Virginia)

3. What is the duration of services offered to clients at the Dual Treatment Track (DTT)?

services are self-paced. Core curriculum takes a minimum of nine months to complete.

4. What services are provided at the Dual Treatment Track (DTT)?

Services include:

• Frequent Drug Testing
• Individual/Family Counseling
• Intensive Supervision
• Mental Health Focused Groups
• Moral Reconation Therapy
• Outpatient Substance Abuse Therapy
• Psychiatric Services

Participants are required to attend the following:

• Day Groups on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday
• Frequent Drug Testing
• Psychiatric Appointments at Chesterfield Mental Health Support Services

5. How can an individual be evaluated for Dual Treatment Track (DTT)?

Referrals can be made through the court, attorney, family members, or self-referrals. Ten business days are required to complete an evaluation.
