Taylor Ingram is a resident in counseling and a member of the adult substance use services team. She is passionate about making a difference in communities of color giving them a chance to step out of normalizing traumatic experiences. Over the course of her career, I have found that mental health and substance use is stigmatized in communities of color and there is not enough awareness. We were often told that we cannot express ourselves or not taught emotional intelligence. Taylor is here to make a difference and to create a safe space where trauma is not normalized, and we are able to process through its effects. She enjoys music when she is outside of work.
